Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, this consultant will introduce Align’s capabilities to a broader network of mission-aligned organizations and leaders across Europe and selected EMEA markets. They will cultivate relationships, identify areas where Align can deliver distinctive value, and guide promising opportunities from early conversations through engagement.
This is a senior, hands-on consulting role for an experienced growth leader who understands how trusted relationships, thoughtful positioning, and consistent follow-through contribute to sustainable agency growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a focused approach to growing Align’s client and partner network across Europe and selected EMEA markets.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, partners, advisors, and influential connectors.
  • Expand Align’s network across corporations, nonprofits, foundations, philanthropy, government, family offices, and talent.
  • Identify opportunities aligned with Align’s mission, capabilities, and values.
  • Initiate and lead conversations with senior decision-makers about their goals and needs.
  • Clearly communicate Align’s integrated capabilities, approach, and relevant experience.
  • Bring together the appropriate Align leaders and subject-matter experts for each opportunity.
  • Collaborate on tailored approaches, scopes, proposals, budgets, and presentations.
  • Guide opportunities through proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and engagement.
  • Reconnect with former clients and identify opportunities to deepen current relationships.
  • Develop new sources of trusted referrals and strategic introductions.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide concise progress and revenue updates.
  • Represent Align at selected meetings, conferences, convenings, and industry events.
  • Share regional insights and prospective-client feedback to strengthen Align’s positioning and services.
  • Collaborate with Align’s European and U.S. teams on cross-market and global opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Approximately 10 or more years of relevant growth, business development, agency, consulting, communications, philanthropy, corporate purpose, nonprofit, government, or social-impact experience.
  • A demonstrated record of developing relationships and securing significant professional-services engagements.
  • An active network across one or more priority European or EMEA markets.
  • Strong relationships with senior decision-makers and influential connectors.
  • Experience leading discovery conversations, pitches, proposals, negotiations, and closing discussions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to recognize promising opportunities across different markets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, organized, and able to create momentum independently.
  • Comfortable working toward measurable pipeline, partnership, and revenue goals.
  • Able to work effectively across different countries, cultures, and organizational contexts.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional European or regional languages are an advantage.
  • Passion for social impact and a commitment to thoughtful, ethical, and relationship-centered growth.
  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree is welcome but not required. Align places greater value on demonstrated results, relevant relationships, judgment, reputation, and lived experience.

What Success Looks Like:
Goals will be established at the beginning of the engagement based on Align’s priorities, target markets, and anticipated relationship-development cycles. Measures may include:
  • Growth of Align’s network among priority organizations and leaders
  • New strategic relationships and referral sources
  • Qualified conversations with senior decision-makers
  • Opportunities advanced to proposals or defined scopes
  • Quality and value of the active pipeline
